The village sign was unveiled on Saturday 26th October 2002 by Mr Hanby Holmes, who holds the title of Lord of the Manor. The sign (see picture at the foot of this page) was made by Soanes Signs, and depicts The Church, Henry Bell and a montage of agricultural scenes. It also commemorates the Queen's Golden Jubilee year. Around 70 people attended the unveiling and a celebratory tea in the cricket pavilion afterwards.
